Have to take issue that Bengals were anywhere near as bad as Carolina in the talent department. Bengals had more talent at many position. Bengals beat Carolina that year 20-7. We went to the playoffs only the year before also.

We lost to the previous season's SB champs (New Orleans) by 4 points.
