I am not disputing that the poor voted for Hillary because that was in their best interests.  Same reason the wealthy voted for Trump.

But Trumps "base" is the $50-$100K earners.  That is the only section where he got 50% of the votes and had a gap of 4 points over Hillary.  In the income brackets above that Trumps support declined and Hillary's increased.
