I doubt he's active. Having said that, I think the OP is onto something in regards to being a possession receiver and a possible TE/WR kinda role in the red zone. Being a FSU fan, he was about all we had during some lean years. The kid can make highlight reel catches. It may not translate to the NFL, but the film is out there.
