What I'm saying is that I seriously doubt he would've roasted Gresh if that weren't the prevailing thought in the building. It seemed Marv was pretty done with Gresh, based on comments he made. Players must have been talking too, if I were making an educated guess. We really don't know what went on behind the scenes, but people were pissed for some reason. Just because Gresh remained mostly healthy through his career doesn't mean he didn't sandbag when he had an injury. We don't know.

Gresh had not missed a game all year had taken well over 85% of our offensive snaps that year and around 15% of our ST snaps. He had 62 catches and 5 TDs while being rock solid in the blocking game. All while playing with a back that needed surgery. I have 0 idea when he had time to sandbag.
