Were the injuries too much to overcome this year?

offense is king and its harder to replace injured guys on offense then defense.it also helps when your QB is a future HOF too.
hes had Allen and the Williams boys healthy all year and Gates can still get open and make catches.
if your offense can score points its make it easier on your defense 
Having a future hall of fame QB definitely elevates the entire offensive, Rivers has been a stud for a while.  But Green is better than Allen and Boyd is a better than the Williams boys combined and is one of the best number 2 receivers in the game this season. Joe Mixion has a talent level similar to Melvin Gordon. Green, Boyd and Mixon together should be enough weapons to put up points and be somewhat explosive. Green, Boyd and Mixon were all healthy vs. a terrible Chiefs defense and they score 10 points ? Green, Boyd and Mixon all healthy vs. Tampa Bay where were they in the 2nd half?
