Contender for what? Playoffs? Superbowl? World beaters?
I'd say anywhere from 3-8. Every team has holes every year, so acting as if we need to fill EVERY single hole this team has to be a contender is ridiculous. I say if we get 2 upgrades at OL and 2 upgrades at LB, this team is in the thick of it.
However, all problems start at the top. If the coaching doesn't change, our outcomes never will.
