I mean, if he cared about seeing major success before he dies, you'd think even a stubborn moron could see that Marv isn't getting it. I certainly know Marv will continue to shamelessly pick up checks as long as Mike is offering.

Spite.  This is exactly what it is.  This is why I want him to take his low grade circus and GTFO.  Having this travesty is worse than not having a team at all.
