Because even they don't want the wall and realize it is a waste of resources?
Trump got some funding...he got increased funding for the border...but like the petulant man-child he is he wants more/it all.
And the GOP doesn't have the cojones to pass the CR they already had and override his veto like the adults in the room should do.
