I was leaning towards Bfine's direction there--if the guy has been good, and a good (anti-racist) Democrat for 40 years, I'm not going after the guy.
But "Coonman." That is something else. It suggests an embrace of racist culture, embedment in a social network of racist friends, apparently throughout formative years. 24 is not a kid any more. Wondering if people regularly used that name for him or someone just tagged it on for the yearbook.
