I've heard everybody has them which is the first step on a slippery slope to socialism.  Next you'll want me to pay for other people to have healthcare for the elderly, unpolluted drinking water, roads, food inspections, regulated medicines, food for poor kids and mothers, etc.  The free market or charity will take care of all that stuff.

And another thing! All fire departments should be volunteer unless you want to pay for the good private ones with equipment.
