Yeah, they endorse Clinton. As a neo-liberal she was closer to mainstream Republicanism (or what was mainstream Republicanism) than Trump was.

You should be careful though. The more the media blasts him, the more people will flock to him. You already saw this happen once before.
Newspaper endorsements have, indeed, become less valuable in modern times. They also acknowledge that what they say will fall on deaf ears to his most ardent supporters. But that's not who they are targeting. They are aiming this at "independents" and "moderates" that aren't behind him. Granted, it's probably still going to fall on deaf ears, but they make a pretty good argument.
