Leakers leaking info about the leak. And recently leaked info about a cyber attack against Iran.

What a mess

The short answer is--yes, that is a part of it.

If journalists like Woodward and Wolff are to be believed, the leaking results from serious dysfunction:

1. Some staffers want to prevent Trump from hurting himself by breaking the law.

2. Some are angry at Trump (because of insults and other poor treatment) and want to sabotage his policies.

3. Some staffers are trying to damage/sabotage other staffers, as different teams and cliques vie for the Donald's favor. (There is little sense of over all team feeling/national purpose on the Trump team.)

4. Finally, some are genuinely worried about the state of the republic, and want the public to know what the grifter-in-chief is up to now.

So yes, the chaos White House.
