This is interesting because you literally have an article about someone resigning and the OP re titles it "fired". There was also a slant added with the "Veteran" piece to the title which was just passing information in the article but not really a focus of it. The intent here seems to be to try and re frame this as a "patriot was fired because they were white" and that wasn't true based on the facts. What ended up happening was someone read an article, pulled out the information they wanted to see and recast it as something completely different.

This is actually a really good example of how politics are working today in America.
