I don't think she did honestly. I think that's the easy answer because Hillary is so polarizing, but the truth is Trump reached people in ways she didn't, and didn't try hard enough to. Now I disagree with a lot of what he said and much of it was a con man's sells job, but he still had a strong base and knew how to reach people. I think she helped motivate the Republican base, but Republicans always vote, they understand the Supreme Court repercussions etc for example

It's Dems voters who can't stay focused on the big picture.

Hillary just thought she had it all in the bag and didn't have to get down and dirty and work places like Michigan for their vote etc.
