The Mooch Dumps Trump?

I think that's the easy answer because Hillary is so polarizing, but the truth is Trump reached people in ways she didn't, and didn't try hard enough to. Now I disagree with a lot of what he said and much of it was a con man's sells job, but he still had a strong base and knew how to reach people. I think she helped motivate the Republican base, but Republicans always vote, they understand the Supreme Court repercussions etc for example

It's Dems voters who can't stay focused on the big picture.

Hillary just thought she had it all in the bag and didn't have to get down and dirty and work places like Michigan for their vote etc.

Just my true opinion.

She did win the popular vote by almost 3 million.
People discount that sometimes saying "yeah, California!" like their votes shouldn't count as much.  But I agree; Trump reached people in ways she didn't--"Muslim ban" "Rapists"!

As far as Wisconsin, Michigan and PA, it looked like she had those states, and so (wisely I think) spent her energy in Florida, VA, and NC. Have to wonder what would have happened had not the Russians sided with Trump and Comey had not decided to reopen emailgate. The latter especially seems to have suppressed the Hillary vote.  77,000 was difference in three states.

The one silver lining in all this is that, had Hillary won, there'd be no end to all the talk of how Trump would have built the wall by now, drained the swamp, sorted out NK, balanced our trade against China, implemented a cheaper, better healthcare option than the ACA, and maybe even jailed Hillary. Our country would be more secure from espionage and election interference, and other countries would RESPECT US etc.  In addition to being a constant "socialist," Hillary'd be compared every week to an imaginary Trump--a BUSINESSMAN from the world of corporate accountability, who knew how to select competent people and get things done. Just like on The Apprentice. Instead of someone who knew how the world REALLY works and can fire incompetents, we got a feminist, who blurrs the line between business and government--and involves her family in government by making her two-term former president husband an advisor--a misogynist with multiple accusations of assault and rape against him! The national debt would be over 22,000,000,000,000 by now.

Never Trumpers understood very well what he would do to the party--especially if he won.
