The difficult thing here is that everyone approaches this story with their own construal. We don't really know what the behavior was of the staffers. If they had previously been disruptive to operations, then this is an appropriate response. Is it possible this is an inappropriate move denying oversight authority of the legislature due to partisan differences and using the excuse as a shield? Absolutely. But we don't know the facts in the case, which means that this story results in nothing more than speculation and adding fuel to already rumbling fires.
