The Mysterious Eugene Island

Abiotic Oil, A Theory Worth Exploring

Anybody else think that the seismic activity at Eugene Island may have caused the fault to expand, uncovering another oil reservoir? And the hypothesis that oil originates in the Earth's core  is really pretty out there and doesn't follow simple logic. The Earth's core is composed of metals like iron an nickel, not much in the way of hydrocarbons in those materials. Also, we know the Earth's core has a temperature range between 5000-6000 degrees F. Thats comparable to the temperature on the sun. We know oil can neither exist, nor form at those temps....not to mention it's flammable. We know how fossil fuels form. We also know that those fuels are a finite resource. To think otherwise is simply delusional and serves to delay getting ready for when the oil does eventually run out.
