Andy Dalton: Anyone that wanted a loss today is not a real fan
I get where Dalton is coming from. It is tough to be on the receiving end of fans wishing you would lose especially when it means drafting your replacement.
But, the "real" fans have put up with DECADES of awful mgmt, bad and/or underachieving teams, bad stadium experiences, the worst stadium deal in professional sports, star player defections, bad drafts, etc. In a monumentally bad year, the fans just once, wanted something positive to come from the neverending losing and that is the chance to draft a potential NFL star. We want the team to win for the next 10 years not just one game in an already meaningless season

Fueled by the pursuit of greatness.
