It's a bad LB class. If the Bengals think it's a priority, they should address it in FA so they have flexibility in the draft. I would personally address it this way since LB's are usually a pretty good value in FA. I'm not opoossed to drafting one early, either, if there's value, but I'm not drafting one just to draft one. Again, there was no value there in this particular sim.
How do you know Ford, Howard, and Dillard aren't topped out? Johnson only played 2 games at T in college and stepped in and outperformed all those guys as a rookie. I would say he still has plenty of upside based on his inexperience at the position. Fact is, he outplayed them, and with a year in our program, he'll likely outplay anybody you can get in the 2nd next year.
You want to draft based on your perceived needs, go for it. You don't like mine because I didn't do what you would do, cool. I've explained my logic, backed it up with facts, and I'm done going round and round with you on this.
My perceived needs lmao u do heavy drugs if u dont think this teams immediate needs are linebacker and offensive line and the facts u provide may be true but support a horrible attempt at addressing the problems this team has. This team couldn’t protect the qb and couldn’t stop the run and u want to wait til the 4th round to start addressing those problems in the draft and you want mike brown to spend money in FA lol ur either brand new or starring in a new season of lost.
