I was reading about a candidate running for the House in Georgia. Citing a recent ruling from the FEC that allows candidates to use funds to pay for childcare since the childcare is necessary because of the election, she is going to ask the FEC to allow her to purchase health care during the campaign using those funds, suggesting that she cannot maintain a job that provides healthcare because of running.
Her position is that allowing this will make it easier for working and middle class candidates to run for office.
Thoughts?
