I would have loved to trade back and grab a 3rd or even a 4th round pick. It would help immensely this year.

I do think the Bengals will ultimately trade back at some point in this coming draft. We have too many needs to fill with the picks we have. I just hope that we get good value for it. Trading back is hard to simulate because what you get is almost entirely dependent on what the team that trades up is after vs what you could take.

For example, in past years, trading up to #1 overall would require maybe 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks and 2 third round picks, like when the Rams traded up for Goff. But you can't do that this year because the Bengals need a QB, where as the Titans had just drafted Mariota and therefore didn't need a QB.

I could see a scenario where we get a premium trade at 33, especially if a player like Jordan Love is sitting there. With an entire day to field and consider trade offers (as pick 33 is on Friday), the Bengals should be able to get peak value for the pick. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility to get 2 2nd round picks if a player drops that is good enough. 

It's all very contextual, which makes it hard to realistically simulate :).
