It is less about having twice the wins and more about number of wins that will make the difference when you compare.

 Which in football understanding there is a big difference comparing two teams  with 4  and 2 wins compared to two teams with 8 and 4 wins even though they are double the wins.  Take one win away from 2011 Bengals and add one win to 2019 Bengals they have the same record...

I don't know about all that.  I was just wondering when 2 became one less than four.  If that's your understanding of math, please do not ever try to educate me.
