It won't "get rid of it" but it will be so poorly funded it will be practically useless.
But what position are you actually supporting regarding defunding the police? People speak in such convoluted ways around here I sometimes can't follow what they are actually saying. Do you think "defunding the police" means getting rid of all law enforcement officers?
