It's happened just a few years back with Kingsbury and Rosen and Murray, replace a 1st rounder with a first rounder. Turned out to be the right move in that situation.

My question becomes, with all the blame on one player, or one coach or whatever, what happens if say they offer the job to Bieniemy and he says yeah, I'll take it but I want to draft my own guy who is similar to Mahomes to run my offense. Or you get a college coach like Ohio State's coach and he says I'll come but I want to draft Fields to run my offense. What do you do then, do you stay with Taylor, pass on your first coaching choice to keep the QB? 

As I said, I don't think it will happen, and to be honest I don't think Taylor is even close to being in trouble with the front office yet, just stirring the pot a little.
