So if I say "Philos believe the Klan just 'has a perspective on race relations" why doesn't he condemn them? Is that fair when I take what you actually said but provide no context?

Or would you immediately want to share the entire quote to show you meant that it's a bad perspective that no one thinks is any good?

Context matters.  Always did.  Even for Trump.
