Did Trump "rebuild" the military?
#2
According to the Heritage Foundation the US military will be "too weak" until there is a nuclear warhead for every citizen.

The problem with this study is that they are talking about what is needed to "carry out their mission" and they define "mission" as controlling and policing the entire world.

The US military budget ($722 BILLION)  is greater than the next eight countries COMBINED.

China...........$248 Billion
India............ $73
Saudi Arabia. $69
France.......... $64
UK............... $62
Russia.......... $61
Germany...... $50
Japan........... $47

Some countries have more troops than the US but troops don't win wars anymore.  The US has an overwhelming advantage in ships, planes, bombs, and even nuclear weapons.

The US also has a huge military advantage in the fact that we do not have an enemy bordering us or really anywhere close to us.

The way the world works today every international dispute effects the US even if we are not directly involved.  All business is international  and we have to have access to markets and resources all over the world.  But we should never get involved in an international dispute that we are not a party to unless we are part of a coalition of countries.  The United Sates will go broke if we feel that we have to be able to to control the world by ourselves.
