Look at the organizations that are routinely making the playoffs and competing for a Super Bowl. Would any of them retain a head coach for a third season after they had gone 4-23-1 the first two years and showed no signs of improvement? Would any of them settle for this?

There are clear signs when something isn't working. This isn't working. Have a winning organization's mentality and cut the dead weight loose.
