The accident happened about a mile or two away from where I worked. Drove by it the next day and saw the police tape up. Very sad. He really was turning his life around.
About 4 years ago I was taking my son to his football game and there was a game finishing up before ours. I saw two lanky kids and they both had the last name of Henry. I told my wife how they reminded me of Chris Henry since they were tall, wore #15 and had the last name as him. Took me a few minutes to realize that they were indeed Chris Henry’s kids. Saw their mother later on walking them to their car and I wasn’t sure if I was looking at an unfortunate widow or a murderer.
(Another shame was his kids were on a team called the Coulwood-Oak Steelers)
