This is what’s known as ‘the gamblers fallacy’. We have the same chances as everyone else in the draft. Our past fails don’t give us a bump in the odds. Actually, our poor scouting decreases our odds compared to other teams. Granted, picking higher in the draft increases our odds of having success.
