Wish you were in the SW Ohio area as I could recommend a really awesome guitar teacher (Jim McCutcheon in Dayton). He might have some videos on YouTube.

But the nice thing about guitar is that it is also one of the best instruments to teach yourself on. Patience and practice are all it takes.

thanks Zona, the approach I'm taking this with is "this is going to be fun not daunting and difficult"  I dont need to make a living doing this.  I need an outlet and at the end of the day, i have a piece of art in my house.
