Pittsburgh Steelers Foul Play - A Visual History
#1
Im tired of the Steelers acting like they are the victims when it comes to cheap shots and dirty play. There is a narrative around the league that the Bengals are a dirty team and the poor Steelers are the victim. They are hypocrites when it comes to pointing out the Bengals dirty play (which there has been at times, admittedly)  and ignoring their own. These cases and videos below show a common theme and thread over the years. Steeler's injuring other players, breaking the rules, and playing bush league football.
The Steeler's have a long history of being dirty and below is just a few examples of a more recent visual history of just that.

Kimo Von Ohelhoffen goes low on Carson Palmer in 2005 playoff game. Only Kimo knows if it was dirty or not, but it was a low, diving, hit at the knees.

Hines Ward hit on Kevin Huber in 2013. Ward hit defenseless punter Kevin Huber in the jaw/neck area. Huber broke his jaw and his neck. There was no flag on the play but the NFL later came out and said it was an illegal hit.

This also caused the NFL to institute the "Hines Ward" rule:
The blocking rule makes illegal a blindside block if it comes from the blocker's helmet, forearm or shoulder and lands to the head or neck area of the defender.

Mike Tomlin tripping Jacoby Jones in 2013. No, Tomlin didnt actually trip Jacoby Jones, but he obviously inpeeded him. Tomlin knew exactly what he was trying to do, you can tell by the look on his face. Bush league.

Mike Munchack pulls Reggie Nelson's hair in 2015 playoffs. This is just so pathetic I dont even know what to say. This is just such a ***** move and so bush league.

Mike Mitchell twisted the knee/leg of Chiefs running back. Mike Mitchell isn't dirty? Right guys? The NFL is the one to blame for his constant cheap shots and head shots.

Mike Mitchell dives at Alex Smith's legs.

Ben Rothlisberger twists Emmanual Ogbah's ankle. I thought Burfict was the only guy who twists ankles? Looks like thats more of a Steeler's thing.
