The one place you lost me was with Adrian Peterson.  No need for him when you have Mixon, Bernard (who should have a nice role in the new offense) and Walton.

The Peterson pick in free agency was something different to throw in some spice.  If you look at his numbers last year he played great and you have to admit he's great on the goal line and why not give Mixon a veteran rotational guy.  Personally, I don't think Whalton is a great #3 and Bernard gets hurt way to often to be reliable for a season.  For the production vs value, Adrian Peterson may be one of the best free agent signings we could make.

Either way, it makes for a great discussion.  Why exactly do you feel that Peterson would be a bad rotational back for the team?
