I wanted experience at DC with a young HC, but I do like bringing in more guys from the Rams. They obviously had a good thing going there, so an extra guy who was around for that could help implement their style and atmosphere. That said...where is the experience? Taylor at HC with (Brian not Bill) Callahan and Aubrey Pleasant at the coordinator spots is an extremely green bunch.
James Casey (TE's) and Ben Martin (assistant o-line) are also very green. No NFL experience. Jim Turner only has 2 years at the NFL level.
It's looking like Darrin Simmons is going to be (by far) our most experienced coach.

The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
