If they are going to just extend their own and sit on their hands, then the Burrow pick will be a waste and we get to relive the 90's.
I wouldn't say that. It's not like we went big into free agency when we drafted Palmer or Dalton and they turned out just fine.
I'm not a fan of overpaying players, and the guys that hit free agency always seem to get a huge premium over their true value.
That being said, I would think that they should go out and sign one top tier guy at a glaring position of need (IOL or LB)
