Pitching wins championships. Period.

IDC who the hell you play or pitches against you, to go 22 innings scoreless is beyond a joke. To swing at the pitches they swing at is a joke. To NOT even know how to foul pitches off to stay alive and make a pitcher work is a joke. To NOT even try to bunt a ball or go against a shift with a swing is a joke.

This team unfortunately has 4-5 DH hitters who should never see the field defensively in their lineup and none of them would bat 5th or higher in any lineup in MLB. All you need to know about their philosophy is to let a .274 life-time hitter go in Iglesias who hit .288 a year ago and is also the best defensive SS in MLB and then sign an out-of-shape, pudgy, terrible defensive player in Galvis with a noodle arm who is a lifetime .240 plus hitter ALL because there's a chance the guy could hit 20 HR in GABP.

Until BC, WJ and Dickie Williams leave this organization will never change as they have ZERO hitters in their minors ready for the BIGS.
