I think he’s an ideal DE in a 3 man front with his size/length at 6’5” and 310lbs. Then can bump inside on 4 man fronts. I don’t see any other top end d-line guys that can do that. Anybody know what his weaknesses are?

Edit: let me clear something up, I’m not suggesting taking him at 5. He would be a trade back scenario in the 10ish range.

I think he played himself in to the first round, but not that early.  He will likely be a really solid later first round pick for a team that has an extra first rounder.  For whatever reason, DTs are just not as sexy as DEs.  It's stupid, as the best player in the league is probably Aaron Donald.  But he is a true three-down player and would be an absolute BEAST in the middle next to Reader.  

My dream would be that a team like Carolina goes nuts and offers us their 1st (#8) and 2nd for the #5 pick and we still get Chase and then get Barmore by trading that 2nd and our 3rd to get back in to Rd 1 if he was available somewhere around #20-25.  Then, they could use their original 2nd rounder to draft Spencer Brown to play RT.

A first two days of the draft with Chase, Barmore, and Brown?  Hell, yes....please!
