With batting numbers down some fans don't appreciate how good our hitting is
#1
Reds are #1 in the NL in OPS (slugging percentage plus on-base percentage).
2nd in runs scored (behind Dodgers)
2nd in batting average (behind Nationals)
2nd in slugging percentage (behind Giants)
3rd in home runs and on-base percentage.

Individually Reds have three of the top 7 in the NL in OPS.  #3 Winker (.954), #5 Votto (.951), #7 Castellanos (.940).

There are only 31 NL players with an OPS over .800 and the Reds have 5 of them.  The three above plus #21 India (.848) and #29 Naquin (.816).

Those 5 players are all on pace to hit over 20 HRs.  Suarez already has over 20.  In addition to having 6 players with 20+ HRs the Reds are also on pace to have more than 20 HRs hit by our catchers.  That means we are getting 20+ HRs from every position except SS.
