That is a separate issue.  Many of the workers who prepared the product were the ones getting sick during the first couple waves of Covid.  Many didn't go back to that work because the job market gave them other options.  Oh, and the company wants to make more profits hidden behind inflation to make up for 2020.

This deal with the trucks is a literal thing that you can point to and say Abbott's decision ruined the produce and will drive prices up, ujnrelated to other factors that would raise prices.
