But seriously, I live in a small town and everyone here other than me went to the local public school, sends their kids to the local public school, and think public schools are dangerous and that they need to be completely revamped or done away with.  I guess the idea is that they went to that school in the good ol' days but somewhere along the line it turned into a den of sexual grooming.

One of the dudes who was elected to the school board is a guy in his 20's who was home schooled and got voted in because he talked about Jesus and banning gay books.
