Where is Gio?

Gio has the 11th highest salary among RB's in the entire league, and he's down to 3.8 touches over his last 6 games. It's a total waste of cap. There's an easy out in his contract for 2018, but I doubt we use it "cuz loyalty". It's a dumb move to pay him this much though, if he's not going to be a central part of the offense.

I like the guy, but it is what it is.

I'm not for cutting Gio, but I've always considered him overrated and over drafted. Never understood the team selected him as the first RB in the draft a few years ago.

However, he just isn't being utilized correctly and that may very well have to do with the pisspoor OL blocking. Gio needs to get touches that are outside the pocket cause Gio up the middle for -1 yards is pretty guaranteed to be the result if we run him between the tackles.

Gio does have trade value. There are teams that do know how to use an undersized dynamic back.
