Sample actually can block and he has good hands on small attempts. I think the routes and tricks to get open can be taught.

That said, it appears we could have got him in the 3rd or 4th Round.

The board just played out in a bad manner for us in the 2nd and 3rd as there were no LB's worth taking with our 2nd Round pick. As good as it played out in the 1st Round to fill an OT need, it played out the opposite in the 2nd.
According to the head coach, he wouldn't of been there in the next couple of rounds. You'd have missed the TE you wanted because some hack pundit said a 4th Rd pick.Thankfully we have a coach that knows more.
