Yes they were. Which is why it was mostly product on the field and status quo.

For me it was about cost and product. I loved the Bengals but was not longer paying for season tickets to line a teams pockets that seemingly didnt give a rats butt about me.

100% wrong! Some people, regardless of team, gave up on football due to the protests because the NFL was allowing it and was not making a stand. They made their stand too little too late which is why some never came back.
