You are not making sense. 

He's suggesting that it's entirely possible that his past attitude - bone headed, hard to work with, drama induced, etc, is entirely possible that he could've been the issue. 

Fred didn't mention unpaid parking tickets, but literally (partial) reason why he wasn't drafted in the first place. He was listed as a loose cannon, both on and off field.
