As to the TD throw:  Dalton did that with Eifert against the Browns on Thursday Night Football.  Check the 1:00 mark after the Browns penalty.

I don’t think that Dalton throw matches, he just threw it up. Mahomes was a laser from far away.

But it was a good play, which I hope I’m showing in this convo.. he’s GOOD on best days, but not great. Those terms are relative to everyone though.
