The kick in the nuts wasn't in the truest sense of a kicking motion. It was more of Rudolphs trying to push Garrett away from him form the position that he was in.
I agree that Garrett should've just simply cold cocked the enraged Rudolph with his fist. Had he done that we all would be laughing (myself included) at the hot headed QB who got his ass kicked, and Garrett would probably be looking at a fine and 1 game suspension.
