Iloka is incredibly articulate and intelligent; not even what he said, but how he said it: the guy clearly has his brain functioning at a high level.

He basically re-told what we all know and have been saying, but I think it rings true that he said that just because the results aren't there, doesn't mean they aren't trying.

I always liked George because of that. He's just a different dude from the "typical" athlete.

The game was very hard to watch, but when we played Pittsburgh late in 2017 he did something that really needed to be done. I'm talking about the JuJu crack back, Shazier spinal injury game. All of that had already happened, and the Bengals were typically playing against the refs as well. I think it was Antonio Brown who caught a TD, and Iloka blatantly blasted him in his facemask. He then looked straight at the ref with a look that said "You gonna throw the flag or not?". There was nothing smart about it, but the game was out of hand, and it just needed to be done.
