Christian Erickson (sp?) of Denmark collapsed on the field and they performed CPR on the field for many minutes. He survived. Denmark was forced to play the game (& lost), then rallied to make the SFs of the tournament. Erickson had a pacemaker installed and played in the World Cup.

On the other end, Hank Gathers collapsed on court for Loyala Maramount in a college game and did not survive. I have read reports of soccer players collapsing on fieldc and passing several times. 

Hope we are in an Erickson type situation.
