If a player can save a good chunk of cap and the team doesn't think they are worth the cost and can't find a trade partner, they've seemed more willing to cut compared to previous decades.

Nice. This is what I like to hear as I think this is the way winning organizations do things. Move on from good players right in time in
order to improve the team. Similar to what Billy B has done in New England over the years. If Mixon doesn't want to restructure, cut
him and add an OT like Bolles in a trade and a late round RB that can pass block.
This could also give us an option to cut La'el Collins if it looks like he isn't going to play at all next season and might give us some more
dough to throw around to improve the team.
