I do believe this is the least of Trump's problems-- The attack/ Coup attempt on our Capitol on January 6th predicated by Trump's BIG Lie that murdered + maimed police officers and sought to place false electors to overthrow our democracy is punishable by treason and/or insurrection. It could be argued, by a direct and proximate result of Trump's actions on January 6th that led to the death and felonious assault of several police officers, Trump should be charged accordingly with murder, assault, and manslaughter.
History will not be kind to Trump, and he will go down right there with Benedict Arnold as one of the biggest traitors to our Constitution that he swore to uphold and protect but failed miserably due to his malignant narcissism. Benedict Donald.
Yeah, as someone who hates Trump, I don't get a lot of satisfaction seeing him get bagged for hush money payments to pseudo-hookers. It feels very Clinton-ish, and I always thought that the Clinton affair scandal was an absolute waste of time and resources. I really have zero concern for whether or not DJT is faithful to his wife. I mean, if you believe he was, you haven't been watching the guy for the last 40-ish years.
The insurrection stuff would be far more interesting. I'd love to see him get held responsible for orchestrating treason/insurrection. I don't care if he gets convicted or goes to jail. I wouldn't hate seeing him hanged for being a traitor, though. I don't mean by some lib mob, either. I want to see it happen at the hands of a federal judge all proper and such.
