Agree, many people have been saying this for a long time now. I think if this would have been the case we'd be talking when the hell is he getting in the HOF, instead of just trying to get back into baseball period.

I am not one that just blindly defends Rose. I pretty much agree with what Zona said. But how can some one sit on this type of evidence for 30 years?
Simply to squash any chance Pete might have to get back into baseball. From my understanding Dowd (the Feds) held onto this, and then "magically" some guys from ESPN managed to dig it up. Just basically a big F-U from Dowd to Pete.
